Hi all,
I have had pso for 18 years and had a baby a year ago. I was scared during my whole pregnancy that I would pass the condition on the her, but then thanks to the hormonal change, my pso all disappeared and I enjoyed a great pregnancy without itching and scratching! Fortunately my daughter doesn't have pso but I know it is very early to say.
When I started giving her formula milk she was refusing everything until I went for an organic one - the only one without added Taurine. I was really intrigued and searched Taurine on the Internet and there I got terrified: it is a hormone naturally produced by the human body but when it is artificially added to formula milk in particular it could trigger psoriasis!!
Does anyone know if this is true? And if it is how come it is authorized?
I am so glad my daughter didn't like all those milks and went naturally for her best option.
Now does that also mean that all those energy drinks can trigger psoriasis? I am not drinking that myself but lots of teenagers are fond of them...it is a general health issue!

Hi PrisK, I can't believe your post about Taurine, I have only had Psoriasis for about 5 years and about 5 years ago I went through a phase of drinking a lot of energy drinks! Wow I must research this and stop the energy drinks whilst I do..
