Flare up after surgery

Hi, I have recently had a total hysterectomy and after 4 Weeks recovery I have seem to have had a big flareup. I’m absolutely covered apart from my face. I have been to the doctor and they gave me some steroid cream. No cream seems to work for me and I’m at the end of my tether as it just will not go away/subside- it’s been nearly 4 weeks.. I was just wondering if anybody else has experienced the same and if there is anything that has helped? I have also entered menopause at age 43…not sure if that has made a difference.

Hi I had a small blader operation and a short stay in hospital that is when I developed psoriasis I had light treatment for 30 sessions and it healed up well about 12 months on I am now covered in itchy patches again awaiting a dermatology appointment to get the ball rolling again all the best dave .

I hope all goes well for you. Light treatment is the only thing that seems to work for me but I’ve not been referred but this has given me a the idea to approach the dr.
