Hi! I personally know of someone whose severe Psoriasis went away from eating a Keto diet and another person I know had theirs cleared on Carnivore diet. Has anyone else had the same experience? And if so, how long before you'd expect to see if it's working? I don't know how long to stick to Keto before changing course. It seems to go against so much that I've read about healing through diet...on Keto, I have dairy, nightshades, red meat. But I've previously cut those out before along with gluten, alcohol and sugar (which is the same on Keto) and no difference after I eliminated those foods for over 6 months.

I read a paper in a medical journal (https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8016365/) that while i didn't fully understand the science, it seemed that keto might be worth a try. My psoriasis worsened after covid vax and I developed arthritis in knees, feet and hands. I started to follow a low carb diet at end of October and in 6 weeks pain in joints has gone. My nails, which were also deformed on feet are now back to normal. I still have both guttate and plaque skin going on, but I feel a hell of a lot better. I intend to follow low carb for at least a year to make sure it's not seasonal (I'm in australia so pain reduction has coincided with warmer weather.) I've also lost 6 kilos! I say, what have you got to lose... except pain. It doesn't seem to have to be full on keto, just reduce those carbs to under 20-30g per day. I've found the only thing i really miss is pulses and legumes and they can be reintroduced further down the track in moderation. There's a couple of really good cookbooks out there that cut through all the American Diet replacement. Happy to recommend if you're interested.
