Hi. I've only recently been put on methotrexate myself. I am on 15mg per week now and must say that although I'm only about 8 weeks in the psoriasis is looking a lot better not brilliant but it's early days... Just be aware of any side effects u might suffer with is all I can say.. Good luck...

They say folic acid can help with several of the symptoms, nausea being one of them.. I personally don't suffer with any nausea but I feel really tired for a day or two after taking tablets.

I'm 3 weeks into taking 15mg. My life is already transformed beyond belief. I have 90% mobility and my skin is clearing rapidly - P is pale and no flakes at all.
3 weeks ago I couldn't chop a vegetable, or walk from my house to my car in the drive, this week I am decorating my house.
Amazing!
I feel very tired and nauseaus for 24?hours after taking it but no other side effects so far.

Sorry to jump in....
Hi everyone.
I've just been given my mess but am slightly confused. I've been given methotrexate 2.5mg tabs. But on the label it says ' take 6 tablets (15mg) per week for 4 weeks. Normally taken once weekly'
I've also been given 5mg of folic acid
I've already had my trial. Just wondered how everyone else takes theirs.
Thanks for reading.

Hi. I take 6 - 2.5mg tablets a Friday evenings before I go to bed so if I have any nausea feelings I won't feel them cause I'll be asleep... I take folic acid on sat and sun night to conteract any symptoms I might get... Hope this is some help..
