Hi all, is there anyone on methotrexate who takes tart cherry juice? I ordered some without checking and I see that there could be side effects. I'm sleeping so badly, I'm wondering whether it's still worth trying...

Theres been alot of talk about juices, vitamins, ect helping with psoriasis, thay will in genral boost your bodys health, but in theory the jurys out,any food high in vit D,is though to help the most, theres been trials done on diet ect,but nothing has been declared a great help, there are certain fruits ect, that affect some meds ie grapefruit citrus fruits ect, always check leaflets with the meds for side affects ect, other than that a healthy balanced diet only has positive results for your health in general and can help with psoriasis, also ask your local gp+chemist about diet ect and the medication you take, everyones condition is different, thats why its a hard illness too treat, ive been put on meds recently by my specialist to help me sleep there muscle relaxance, and work for me,my joints are badly affected ect, sleeping meds didnt work for me,so talk to your gp ect and see if thay can help you with your sleeping probs !
I don’t know anything about your medication and it’s side effects, but tart cherry juice ( Biona) has been an absolute miracle juice for me. It’s so good I’ve started to forget how bad the pain used to be. ( Perhaps I should stop singing its praises, before I create a worldwide shortage?)
I can’t make any judgement on your condition (obviously!), but I’d take the juice rather than any medication, if it came down to a choice.
