Hi,
I have had psoriasis since I was about 10 (35m now). Over the past month I had a flare up of it on my back and thighs. Then I started feeling like my elbow and knee tendons were very tight. I have now got a very tight Achilles as well. I am waiting for my doctor to get back to me for an appointment but wondered if you guys think it could be psoriatic arthritis or just wear and tear?
TIA

Could be both,i recently had flare up,and it affected my shoulders and arms pain and movement was terrible, had xrays ect,and was told it was a calcium build up on tendons caused by psoriasis, which was a new one to me,i was lucky had injections in affected areas with ultra sound guidance after three days all pain ect had gone,so see what your gp says and does but at the moment treatment is a postcode lottery, psoriasis is still a puzzle and what it can do to your health, unfortunately many doctors arent aware of this so always ask if you can see a specialist !
