Hello does anyone have any recommendations for scalp treatment? I’ve been prescribed all kinds over the years and nothing has really helped. I’ve just ordered some of the medivie products because I’m at a loss. So self conscious and paranoid about flakes in my head and on my collars it’s really getting me down.

I have the Dovebet scalp lotion too.
Recently I have been using Epimax Isomol Gel before bed time to soften the flakes and then wash off my hair in the morning with a specialist shampoo like Dermax Therapeutic Shampoo, Capasal or T/Gel shampoo.
It is difficult to get rid of psoriasis in winter or cold months, but it should be easier in the spring and summer.
I used to wear either patterned tops or light colourd ones when it was really bad.
Try not to keep your head in the cold for very long.

I find Body Shop Ginger scalp serum helps calm my scalp when it starts to get inflamed. Not suggesting it would be an alternative to meds, just a way of tackling early onset symptoms before they get bad. Dermalex psoriasis scalp gel has helped too and the nozzle makes applying it to the right place easier so its not all over your hair.

My dermatologist recommended me to use Nopsor Psoriasis Body was and shampoo. I get it from amazon. I used every day after regular shampoo and when a bottle finished I started using every other day. I try to use it only on the scalp and not in the length of the hair cuz it could dry it. When my symptoms are more in control, I use the MG217 Psoriasis shampoo, also from amazon.

Ask for Enstilar foam for major flare. Spray it onto your scalp at night. Wash out in the morning. Coconut oil rubbed in overnight on an ongoing basis works well. Boots psoriasis cream (sometimes branded no7 also) non steroid cream also helps as foes dermalex lotion.
