Ketaconazole shampoo

My pharmacist is telling me Ketaconazole is having supply problems. Do we know if it's only temporary? It's one of the most effective things I use! It was bad enough when calcipotriol scalp solution got discontinued; at least I traced why (Novartis spun off its generics arm, Sandoz, which made it). There are reasons for these things - generics earn much less for companies, unrest in the areas active ingredients are found, apparently not especially Brexit (sorry for politics, and who wouldn't be?) but it's so frustrating....
