Hi there,
Have my first every dermatology appointment on Tuesday after an 8 month wait. I have really bad scalp psoriasis, it's all over my arms, legs and also groin. I've tried many medications from the drs but no avail.
Does anyone know what they will do at the first appointment so I have a rough idea.
Many thanks x
Posted Sat 8 Jun 2024 14.02 by Yogacherry - from Hastings, East Sussex Hello, I was diagnosed with guttate psoriasis October 2023, after symptoms began in May 2023. II am 60 and have just finished an MA.
I can only give you my experience which is being diagnosed with guttate psoriasis which is more like random spots on arms, legs and face. At first derm suggested oral medications but then I asked about topicals which is basically steroids like Enstilar and I now have the emollient Epaderm on prescription. I then requested phototherapy which I am now having. Steroids are only a short-term solution then my symptoms returned. Wishing you well.
