Face Psoriasis

Hi, I’ve been ill recently and also under quite a bit of stress. I’ve had a huge flare up on my body recently but have noticed some some patches starting on my face. I’ve never suffered with it on my face before. Is there anything that anyone can recommend? I’m careful with what I use on my face and moisturise. Thanks

I developed psoriasis on my face and was eventually diagnosed as suffering from photosensitive psoriasis. Face psoriasis is a significant indicator of this apparently. Using 50+ sunscreen every day on my face has sorted it out, so I suggest you try this. It may be worth trying to get a formal diagnosis of photosensitive psoriasis from a dermatologist, as you can then receive sunscreen on prescription (as I do). If you don’t want to go down this route, I recommend Altruist 50+ Face Fluid sunscreen. You can buy it on Amazon. For what it’s worth, I think photosensitive psoriasis is very under diagnosed, as GPs don’t seem to realise it exists.
