Black seed oil treatment

I would encourage everyone to try black seed oil. Apply it topically to your psoriasis, I think you’ll be amazed at how quickly it changes the plaque. You may also want to purchase the black seed oil capsules and take orally as well.

Been doing a wee bit of research, what brand & strength of Thymoquinone was it, trying bee venom cream just now but open to try this oil as well?

The topical oil I apply to my psoriasis is Natures Way organic black seed oil and the brand I take orally is Triquetra TQ Advanced Black seed containing 20% thymoquinone, that is the highest percentage I’ve been able to find. Both are on Amazon.

Yes, the research surrounding black seed oil is pretty remarkable! Let me know how it works. The oil is a little messy I use it when I’m outside all day wearing shorts or at the beach. I’ve also thought about putting a large bandaid over top. Keep me posted on your progress.

Tried getting hold of the two oils you have mentioned, but unfortunately not available in the UK,(the nanny state) still looking though, cheers for the information.

Yes it is available in the UK. I've just ordered oil & capsules & will let you know how I get on.

I buy my organic blackseed oil at www.oliemeesters.nl. It is a part of my selfmade salve/oil on my whole body. I also bake in it and use it as the oil in salads. It is a simple way to digest it. It gives the food a little bit of an ’asian’ taste.

Just taking the capsules has already made a difference for me. For cooking, do you just use it as any other oil?

That’s awesome! I’m happy that it is making a difference.

To Jacky: Yes, just like any other cooking oil. The taste is a bit different though. Like oriental or asian

Thanks to Deacon Blues. I thought it was going to be another scam like the blueberry one but I'm desperate enough to try anything and the black seed oil is already improving my skin. To Rwse, thanks, I'll try cooking with it. Happy with Asian flavour! Will keep you updated but at the moment I'm impressed with the results.

@DeaconBlues: I was looking at the Triquetra TQ Advanced Black seed oil on their website, and they state it contains 5% thymoquinone, not 20%. However, I just noticed that on the pictures of their products shown on their website, the labels say 20%, but not the info on the website. To add to confusion, the picture of their product on Amazon.com shows "5% thymoquinone" on the labels and packaging. There is a section (below the product info and above reviews) on their Amazon.com listing showing their own advertising literature and it shows "Triquetra TQ Advanced Black seed oil x4" - which would be 20%. Strangely this specific product is not shown on their own website. I did try sending them a question using their contact form, but it was rejected with an error message. It is all somewhat confusing. I think that there is a little smoke and mirrors from many brands of black seed oil. I see many use wording like like "3x-5x more thymoquinone than other brands" without stating what actual % that is. As far as I can see a "standard" level is 0.5% thymoquinone. It is all a little academic for me as Triquetra do not seem to ship to the UK (neither from their website nor from their Amazon.com listing).

On the bottles that I have purchased it does say 20% Thmoquinone, but I agree, a lot of smoke and mirrors with many brands.

Nothing new just wanted to keep this discussion going as, thanks to Deacon Blues, black seed oil capsules have made an amazing difference to my skin and my life. Neither is perfect but sometimes I look at my skin and can't believe the difference. I can now wear short sleeves (just in time for winter!), maybe sandals next year? I can't remember the last time I wore sandals! I wholeheartedly recommend black seed oil . Mine is from the Black Seed Oil Company and I am thrilled with the results.

Wow, I’m so happy that you’re getting such fantastic results!

Jackie, Please tell us more how you use the black seed oil in more detail. How often you apply it on skin and how much do you take in tablet form. How much in oil form. Ì don't think I can find it as capsules, so I may have to use the oil itself. Where in your body is affected and where has been improving more? Ì didn't see a benefit from blueberry after a month, although I am still using it.
