Hi, I'm new here and I would really appreciate help with my facial skincare dilemma! I've currently got my psoriasis very well controlled but recently I've started to get some small outbreaks on my face and I'm at a loss as to how I can try and manage it. I'm currently using CeraVe cleanser and the day cream with SPF and the night cream but I'm keen to find something more "natural" based. It seems that there is some rosacea too but it is the small patches of psoriasis that I struggle with the most. Thanks for any help you can give me xxx
Posted Fri 9 Aug 2024 13.09 by Yogacherry - from Hastings, East Sussex Hello, I was diagnosed with guttate psoriasis October 2023, after symptoms began in May 2023. II am 60 and have just finished an MA.
I too have had face outbreaks. Mine is guttate so spots on forehead/side hairline and I’ve had some on neck. When it was bad my derm gave me prescription of tacrolimus which is also called protopic. It cleared but definitely no sun exposure while using. I also use Eucerin Urea Repair as a moisturiser Boots sell it. I find that quite gentle. Heliocare do an spf 50 which I use daily. Can get online - bit pricey. Good luck.

Hey! Welcome to the community! CeraVe is great, but I get why you'd want to explore more natural options. Have you tried aloe vera or oat kernel oil-based products? They're super soothing. Also, look for non-comedogenic or hypoallergenic labels to reduce irritation.
