Hi, after many years of wearing contact lenses/reading glasses, I'm considering lens replacement surgery, but I have mild psoriasis, and my eyes are prone to dryness. The Consultant has advised me that this is not a problem ... but is it?
I also have stiff toe joints in the mornings, which are eased by movement (I walk my dog twice a day!) but I'm now beginning to wonder whether this is actually psoriatic arthritis, in which case, is lens replacement surgery still an option?
Does anyone on here, with or without psoriatic arthritis, have any experience of this type of eye surgery, I'd be really interested in your comments.
Many thanks
Ali
