Misdiagnosis

I was being treated for several months with different steroids for psoriasis. I eventually got to see a dermatologist who took biopsies of two areas. One infected one unaffected. The results came back and it wasn't psoriasis but PRP - Pityriasis Rubra Pilaris. Often mistaken for psoriasis. The condition is very rare and symptom limiting. 1-3 years. It is being treated successfully with Otezla atm. Hope this helps someone else.
