'Psoriasis Update: What You Need to Know' Conference – Keynote Speaker Announcement

The upcoming 'Psoriasis Update: What You Need to Know' conference, is set to take place on June 22nd at the Pendulum Hotel in Manchester.
The busy agenda is packed with expert talks bringing a wealth of knowledge and the latest insights on psoriasis care and treatment.
We are excited to start off our speaker series and introduce four of our esteemed speakers: Professor Darren Ashcroft, Dr. Satveer Mahil, Dr. Helen Young and Dr. Claire Reid.

Professor Darren Ashcroft
With an unmatched level of expertise, Professor Darren Ashcroft, Foundation Chair in Pharmacoepidemiology at The University of Manchester will discuss psoriasis epidemiology in the UK.
His innovative research project, which explores variations in psoriasis across ethnic groups received funding from The Psoriasis Association. Join us at our conference in June for his expert insights.

Dr. Satveer Mahil
Dr. Satveer Mahil,
Consultant Dermatologist and Senior Lecturer at King’s College London, helped
establish PsoProtect and PsoProtectMe to track Covid-19’s impact on psoriasis
patients.
Following their success, Dr Mahil launched mySkin at our Conference in 2023. Now one
year later, she’s back to update us on mySkin findings on psoriasis and overall
health. Don’t miss this insightful talk.

Dr. Helen Young
Dr. Helen Young, Senior
Lecturer in Dermatology at The University of Manchester and Consultant
Dermatologist, has a keen interest in psoriasis and exercise. Her
evidence-based research examines psoriasis and lifestyle behaviour change. Join
her session at our annual conference for the latest observations in this area.
Talk title: Exercise and psoriasis: What does the evidence tell us?
Dr. Claire Reid
Dr. Claire Reid, Clinical
Lead of the Psoriasis Rapid Access Clinic (PRAC) in Salford, Greater
Manchester, understands the challenges of accessing dermatology services for
chronic conditions.
She will discuss the success of PRACs, following
their launch in Salford in 2018 and their impact on early psoriasis management.
