The Diet and Psoriasis Project (DIEPP) - New paper published

The project aims to investigate whether dietary factors are related to psoriasis severity.

A new paper has been published providing details of the Psoriasis Association funded Diet and Psoriasis Project (DIEPP), which includes the APPLE Study. You can read a short lay summary of the paper below.

Summary:

Emerging evidence shows that diet may serve as a potential therapeutic addition to the management of psoriasis. The Diet and Psoriasis Project (DIEPP) aims to investigate whether dietary factors are related to psoriasis severity by conducting an observational study followed by a dietary intervention study. This emerging research paper will evaluate the current evidence and outline the design of the DIEPP; a project designed to contribute to the research gaps exploring the role of diet in psoriasis management and to build knowledge to derive dietary recommendations.
