Each year the Psoriasis Association helps thousands of people whose lives have been affected by psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis through our websites, helplines, and social media channels, as well as by raising awareness amongst the general public, healthcare professionals and Members of Parliament.
Our annual report demonstrates how the work of the Psoriasis Association has adapted, continued and progressed all three of our key aims:
To provide information, advice and support to those whose lives are affected by psoriasis;
To raise awareness of psoriasis;
To promote and fund research into the causes, nature and care of psoriasis, and to publish and disseminate the results of that research.
Highlights this year include;
Redesigning and launching our new website with new images and easy to use navigation.
Holding our first hybrid Annual Conference and AGM where delegates could join us in the room in Birmingham or via zoom at home.
Continuing our unwavering commitment to high quality, relevant research with our five-year research grant to BSTOP ad by awarding one new PhD studentship and one small grant.
Receiving PIF Tick reaccreditation ensuring our information resources remain high quality, accurate and relevant.
A successful Psoriasis Awareness Week which involved the development of a number of new digital resources including a useful tips video and another virtual webinar event hosted in conjunction with the St John’s Derm Academy.
Thank you to everyone who supported us in 2022
