Raising Awareness at Rushden Lakes: Information Day

The day was a success and fantastic opportunity to bring awareness of psoriasis to the local community.
With the sun shining, our stand saw a steady stream of visitors throughout the day. We chatted to many people living with psoriasis, offering them valuable advice and resources to take away.
Interestingly, it wasn’t just those affected by psoriasis who stopped by. Many inquisitive visitors popped over to ask, "What is Psoriasis?", it was a great opportunity to educate the public about the condition and dispel any common misconceptions.
One of the hot topics of the day was scalp psoriasis. Many people shared their struggles with it and our scalp psoriasis information sheets and leaflets, proved particularly useful.
Our resources are ideal for discussing with healthcare professionals to explore new treatment pathways. They are a handy tool that can facilitate conversations, which can potentially lead to better management and treatment for individuals.
Our helpline team were on hand to offer advice, share insights, and provide tailored information to those living with psoriasis and psoriatic conditions. It's extremely rewarding support individuals on their journey to better understanding and managing their health.
