Hi all,
I've suffered with psoriasis now for about 4 years. As a 44 year old teacher, I assumed it was work related! I began to feel quite ill last summer - regularly falling asleep and having my knees and shins flair up.
Like most men of my age, I reluctantly visited the doctor who sent me for blood tests. Through a series of tests and conversations, I was diagnosed as a coeliac sufferer; something that ran on my father's side of the family.
Since July, j have been on a strict (ish) gluten-free diet. No bread or pasta at all.
As a result, my psoriasis has basically cleared from my legs, arms, knees and elbows. I'd read on the forums about changing diet, but would never have believed it!
Consider changing to a gluten-free diet! Gluten can have a huge effect on the skin and the inflammation reduced after a period of a week!
Certainly worth trying!
