Worked well for me.
I was prescribed coal-tar based potions and shampoos. they all helped my psoriasis greatly.
In the days when Wrights Coal Tar soap still contained actual coal tar extract, even that helped a lot.

About 12 years ago, I was recommended Exorex Lotion by my dermatologist.
I had patches all over my body after having a baby.
It worked quickly. No steroids, no grease.
It does not smell as other tar solutions.
However, when I neglect my skin, i.e. not use it for a few days, or not regularly, like recently, it comes back. But I think it is also caused by stressful life that I experience recently and bad diet/dehydration. Whatever. I gave it to my mum and aunt who also suffer from psoriasis and they like it too.
Expensive, but I buy it on the Internet, it is cheaper than in the pharmacy. They come in small 100ml bottles, I always get 200ml, which comes cheaper. It lasts for a while, no need to pour too much on skin. Don't forget to shake the bottle well before each use.
